Redundant

I've just returned from the final consultative meeting regarding the withdrawal of the Novas Group's provision of services to the homeless in Northern Ireland. Two out of three projects will stay open in the meantime. The one I work in is closing.

Well, a well-skilled, well-educated, well-spoken sensible and useful and worthy person such as yourself won't have much problems getting a better job. I hope.

Thanks for all your kind thoughts. I just HATE the thought of going through all the palaver for getting another job but needs must etc.. and when one door opens etc...

It's my first time ever. My poor Katy has been made redundant twice and she is half my age.

One good thng. Bert's not too worried. Sitting playing his clarinet as happily as ever.
