Have you looked at your profile/edit details page? As the 'stan is the first, alphabetically speaking, on the (generally) country dropdown in the HTML form, if something went awry (at their end, and it didn't have a SELECTED beside the UKofGB&NI/Occupied six counties/sick counties/most-of-Ulster/*sigh*) then when the form got submitted it put you on the border with Pakistan.
