This is such a sad, sad thing. I'd hoped the violence was over at last.
It's hard to imagine that the thugs who did this care one whit about Ireland. I come from people who left in the famine -and some who came later and were probably on the other side of things. All any of them hoped for was a peaceful Ireland.
It is sickening to hear about the needless loss of life happening all over again.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't believe this when I read the article this morning. I immediately thought of you when I read County Antrim.
ReplyDeleteI hope that this is an isolated incident. I can't imagine how you must be feeling right now.
First of all I feel terribly sad about the loss of life. Secondly, I feel worried and scared - not for myself, but for the future of this country.

My thoughts & prayers are with you, Nelly.
