Inspired Bicycles - Danny MacAskill April 2009

Thanks to Michael Morrison for recommending this amazing video of his mate Danny.

I'm going to dust the cobwebs of my bike one of these days. Expect I'll be a bit more sedate in my pedalling.

I saw this the other day this guy is amazing. I ride my bike daily and still have trouble with balance.

This is brilliant isn't it - when you guys come to Edinurgh we could arrange an extreme bcycling outing. Haha!

Hope you're all well and find Berts hat - is Sir Drinkalot nae a likely suspect?

For some reason watching Danny do his stuff makes me feel really good. Mikey showed me his early exploits a few years back and I was terribly impressed. If reincarnation exists/existed I want to come back as an extreme cyclist.

As to the missing leather hat - I doubt if Sir Drinkalot has taken it as he gave it to Bert and has his own. We'll just have to get Bert another one which he will hide when we have parties!

I'm with you Nelly; there's something about watching him do his stuff that makes me smile. I think its just that he's so passionate about what he does, doing it for the love of riding and nothing else. He's made lots of videos but for some reason this one has made him big news at last. Front page of BBC news! Very inspiring.

I'll tell him all the scenesters in NI are bigging him up.

Hope you pair are good, when's Bert's birthday again??

Mikey x

I especially love it when he rides up the tree and does a back flip!
